Home > Blossary: Divide
Divide is split into equal parts, and division in maths, For ex. ''the report is divided into two parts'', we also say ''division of society'', and the deriving noun ''dividends'' are the portions of extra amounts of shares paid to stakeholders, at a pre-defined date that is mentioned in Statute of Company, and after decision at a Meeting/Session of Board of Directors, if this date is changed, thus is decided to be other than the one defined in Statute, actually dividends are distributed once a year in most companies, in case of higher earnings from shares, 'extra-dividends' can be given, always based on (net) revenues from shares, having also ''proof of dividends'' (sureties to be converted to ''cash''..etc)
