Disparity is a noun meaning lack of equality, unequality, from Latin adj. pars-paris-equal, A phrase is : they have great disparity in value, means that 'two person are so different, that they are unequal, have disparity in value, thus personal value of each one of them cannot be 'compared' to (personal) value of the other.
