Raju Shetti is the name of MP and little farmer from Kolhapur, Maharashtra,India who struggled for many years against Maharashtra's powerful sugar lobby and government policy for farmers rights.With the tremendous support of youths,farmers he created his farmers union as Swabhimani Shetkari Saghatana and with farmers great demand and amazing support he created his own party and elected as MLA and then MP.He used amazing and rare Vote and Note policy first time in Idian politics,i.e.voters should give him vote and also donate some money (as Rs.10,20) for election formalities so he will give time and work only for their problems.Both time he won the elections with big difference and against strong political party and powerful candidate.Former President Abdul Kalaam also impressed with his great idea and work and wishes him best wishes and said it's very rarely happened in Indian politics and history It's Shocking but after 8-9 years as MLA and MP he still not accepted,used any car by government,not even build or buys any house property or land.He still using in his old and small home and his son studying in small school from his village.
