Holt was highly regarded designer, who was skeptical of joining Apple initially. But, in "Return To Magic Kingdom," he says Steve Jobs "conned" him into taking the job. Holt was a communist who helped developed the power supply for the Apple II. Michael Scott told us, "One thing Holt has to his credit is that he created the switching power supply that allowed us to do a very lightweight computer compared to everybody else's that used transformers." After six years at Apple, Holt says he was pushed out of the company by new management.

Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs, an American business magnate and inventor, is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Jobs also previously served as the chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney. Jobs' attention to the importance of design and the development of products that are both functional and elegant has earned him a devoted following. On August 24, 2011, Jobs resigned from his role as Apple's CEO to Apple's board of directors. Jobs strongly recommended Tim Cook to be his successor. Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011 at the age of 56.
