Home > Blossary: Distinct
Clear, easily distinguished, for ex. ''there is a distinct difference between these two presumptions'', thus meaning there is clear difference, easily to see and understand/perceive. Or we say, ''this is a distinct legal case'', involving rules of law that apply in unusual, often rare cases. We also say, distinct features of someone's caracter, and distinction applies for ex. social distinction, social discrimination, involving prejudice for ex. in regard to social-financial class one belongs, often education, family origin etc.
