One of three illumination patterns available with the T042. This is the default option. The corresponding illumination pattern custom setting option is "STANDARD", and "STD" appears in the LCD panel when this option is selected. This setting is the basic illumination pattern suited to general-purpose flash photography, with less fall-off in the frame coverage of a digital camera than existing flash units.
