Danish researchers with Prof Steen Dissing of Copenhagen University as a principal architect, created a brand new helmet which helps treating people with depression. This device is specially designed for those who failed to respond to medical treatment or psychological counselling (30% of patients). The helmet targets malfunctioning blood cells in the brain and so far enjoys big success as two-thirds of the patients reported that their symptoms disappeared or noticeably improved within a week.
