Zara Larsson

Zara Larsson (born December 16, 1997) is a Swedish singer who received national fame at age 11 when she won the Swedish version of the TV show Got Talent or Talang in 2008. Enjoying singing as a little girl, Zara became a finalist of the Swedish talent show Stjärnskott in 2007 at age 10 before appearing on Talang. During Talang 2008 she performed three songs: "The Greatest Love of All" and "One Moment in Time" by Whitney Houston, and "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. Her brilliant voice and her mastery of singing at such a young age impressed the panel of three judges: Bert Karlsson, Sofia Wistam and Tobbe Blom. She won the competition and her performance in the final has received over 14 million views on YouTube. Her version of "My Heart Will Go On" was released as her debut single.

In January 2013, Zara released her debut EP album Introducing which generated her breakthrough success. The album's single "Uncover" topped the charts in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Both the single "Uncover" as well as the album Introducing were certified triple platinum in July 2013 by Universal Music Sweden. Zara signed a three-year contract with Epic Records in the United States in April 2013.
