Kátia Abreu (born February 2, 1962) is a Brazilian politician, member of the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party. She is claim to be one of the Brazilian most interesting, important and dangerous politician. She is the head of Brazil's powerful agricultural lobby supporting more roads through the Amazon, congressional control over demarcation of indigenous reserves, more efficient monocultures and genetically modified "terminator seeds". Nicknames of Kátia Abreu include "Miss Deforestation", "chainsaw queen" and the "face of evil" which she gained mostly from the Brazilian environmentalist.
